Tamil Nadu: Meera Chopra, known as Nila in the Tamil cinema industry, is an actress in the South Indian movie industry.

She did her Bachelor’s degree from Saginaw Valley State University in Saginaw, Michigan, U.S. After studying mass communications in New York, Meera worked with a leading national television channel, but soon gave it up because she felt she was given a raw deal.

Meera Chopra is originally from the modeling world. Her first film was Anbe Aaruyire produced and directed by S.J. Suryah, in which he played the lead role. It is Suryah who is responsible for bringing her into films and who changed her name to Nila, which is Moon in Tamil.

Two of Nila’s close relatives have died of corona infection. “I have lost two of my relatives in the last few days,” Nila said in a furious post on the social media. They have died due to lack of necessary medical facilities in corona infection. There was no bed available in Bengaluru to treat a relative.

Another relative did not get oxygen. How many people are fighting for their lives like this. No bed, oxygen or medicines were arranged for those involved in corona infection. Governments are complacent. People are in a position to save themselves. Why should I pay 18 per cent GST tax when there is no bed and oxygen facilities? He said. This has created a stir. Many people have been posting posts in support of Nila.
