Mumbai: Chipla, which is involved in the manufacture of pharmaceuticals, earned a total net profit of Rs 412 crore in the fourth quarter.
The Mumbai company told the stock exchange: The company’s operating income was Rs.4,606 crore in the fourth quarter from January to March 2020-21. This is higher than the income earned during the corresponding period of the previous financial year 2019-20 compared to Rs.4,376 crore.
The overall net profit grew by 73 per cent from Rs 238 crore and touched Rs 412 crore. The overall operating income of the company in the full financial year 2020-21 increased from Rs 17,132 crore to Rs 19,120 crore as compared to the previous financial year. Similarly, the overall profit reached Rs 2,389 crore from Rs 1,500 crore.
The company’s operating committee has recommended a final dividend of Rs.5 per share for the financial year 2020-21, which ended last Month, Siblah told the Stock Exchange.
