Tamil Nadu: Chief Minister MK Stalin has announced that Remdesivir medicine, oxygen, etc., used for corona infection sits in hospitals.
The Government of Tamil Nadu issued a message on Sunday: In Tamil Nadu, a study was conducted to improve the method of supply of Remdesivir to the infectious persons treated in private hospitals. Remdesivir is being supplied to the infected persons in government hospitals. Medicines are now being supplied to the individual hospitals through hospitals and directly through the families of the infected persons at the outlets at Chennai, Coimbatore, Salem, Trichy, Madurai and Tirunelveli.
At this stage, where Remdesivir is sold, large crowds are gathering, leading to the inability to observe the social gap and the risk of spreading the infection. It has to be helped.
Chief Minister MK Stalin advised that the existing system should be changed and the medicine should be supplied only through hospitals to reduce the inconvenience to the public. The families of the infected should also be given a ticket to buy medicines and ask them to buy them.
New system: In order to facilitate the supply of medicines, all private hospitals in Tamil Nadu should post the drug requirement online along with details of the infected persons being treated with oxygen in their hospitals.
After the hospitals are allotted medicines, only the representatives of the hospital can visit the specified outlets to get the medicines. Details of the website will be released soon. This will be monitored by the Medical and Health Department officers. The Government of Tamil Nadu has warned of legal action against hospitals and those who violate regulations for unnecessary prescription of infections.
