Tamil Nadu: As the second wave of corona is spreading sharply in Tamil Nadu, preventive work has been expedited. Curfew restrictions, measures to alleviate oxygen shortages, speeding up vaccination and increasing corona testing are being taken.
The incidence of corona infection is very serious in Tamil Nadu, especially in Chennai. The Corporation of Chennai is taking various steps. In this regard, front field staff have been appointed on behalf of the Corporation. They have been going door-to-door in their allotted areas and conducting daily corona testing.
At this stage, a woman front worker was going door-to-door on The Pitari Amman Temple Street in Muthialpet next to Barimuna, Chennai, when she allegedly tried to get a corona test for Sadakatullah (52), who runs a shop in the same area.
It is learnt that Sadakatullah tried to misbehave by grabbing the woman by the arm. The woman shouted and the neighbours immediately came and beat Satakatullah and handed him over to muthialpet police. Police have registered a case in connection with the incident and are investigating.
The work of the front field workers during the Corona disaster is immense. People come from their families to serve, realizing the danger before their eyes. It has come as a shock that they have tried to misbehave with them rather than extend ing full cooperation to them.
