Stalin took over as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu followed by 33 ministers. Governor Banwarilal administered the oath of office to all.

The Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly elections were held on April 6. Counting of votes took place on May 2. The DMK won an absolute majority. 125 people on behalf of DMK, udayasuriyan symbol Stalin, who won a majority of 133 with 8 winners of the Udayasuriyan symbol, was sworn in in simple manner at the Raj Bhavan this morning on the basis of his claim to form the government.

Very few guests were invited at the function. Among those invited to the function were Edappadi Palaniswami, OPS, L Murugan, DTV Dinakaran, Kamal Haasan, alliance leaders and actor Rajinikanth.
AIADMK coordinator OPS participated in this as a new political civilization. Dhanapal and Pollachi Jayaraman participated with him. People’s Justice Mayam president Kamal Haasan also participated. L Ganesan participated on behalf of BJP. On the other hand, the Stalin family was made to sit down. Up to 500 people participated in the function.

Stalin got into a government-issued car from his residence and left for the Raj Bhavan at 8.45 a.m. DMK president Stalin arrived at the function stage at exactly 8.55 pm. He was received by Chief Secretary Rajiv Ranjan with a bouquet of flowers. Sitting on the dais, Chief Secretary Rajiv Ranjan explained to Stalin what the procedures were after signing the files with the ministers.

At exactly 9 o’clock, Governor Banwarilal drove to the venue and got off. DMK president Stalin welcomed the Governor with a bouquet of flowers. He then introduced the ministers to take over. Stalin then introduced his wife, son, daughter-in-law, daughter, son-in-law Sabarisan and grandchildren to the Governor. The Governor spoke to them for a few seconds. He picked up the grandchildren. Then everyone went to the stage.
