NEW DELHI: The tourism sector has been severely affected by the corona epidemic that began in March last year. Tourist attractions have been opened to the public after the spread of infection soured in various countries. Foreign tourist arrivals have fallen due to the fact that air traffic is yet to be fully started and corona fears have not completely gone away.
Tourism organisers from our country have announced a vaccine tourism programme for Russia. A fee of Rs.2.2-2.4 lakh per person has been fixed for the flight fare from Delhi to Moscow, 20 days in Moscow, four days in St. Peter’s Burg, room at star hotel and two doses of Sputnik-V vaccination within 24 days,” it said.
Those who wish to go on a vaccine tour should get RTPCR checked and certified that there is no infection before leaving,” it said. The first phase of passengers from Delhi and Kolkata is expected to leave for Russia soon.
